What "Research Use Only" means

Research Use Only (RUO) is a regulatory designation indicating a compound is supplied exclusively for laboratory, preclinical, and academic research. RUO peptides have not been evaluated by the FDA or any regulatory authority for safety or efficacy in humans or animals, and may not be administered to humans or animals.
